The mind is an extraordinarily power of which we only use a very small portion. In our book, “Speed Reading in only One Hour” we will show you how to tap some of that unused power and use it for your personal success in high school, college, and life.
Your brain can understand from 10,000 to 50,000 bits of data per minute; one bit equates to one word. Although this information comes from old statistics (1980\’s),. based on recently developed speed reading technology, and strides in various types of learning technology, you can achieve phenomenal reading speeds.
The average HS grad, when tested, reads about 250 words per minute. The college student reads at about 300 words per minute. But, no matter what your baseline reading speed, don’t worry, it is only the beginning. Can you imagine what an advantage you would have to be able to read over 100% faster than you did before? The possibilities are limitless.
We receive information through our five physical senses, (touching, tasting, hearing, smelling, and seeing) and through those senses we make decisions. We make choices and judgments from various factors that the physical senses bring into play. The five physical senses (sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch) are pre-programmed for automatic response.
We learn in various ways, beyond the physical senses, through other forms of thought. Much of human thinking is conscious in nature. Senses, however, are totally automatic. An example of might be: when a hungry teenager smells pizza, he or she might start tasting in and even salivating. What\’s taking place is that the sense of smell has automatically brought up a thought, \”PIZZA\”, to the brain and mind. The thought might be unconscious.
Sensing food is a physical sensation through smell. It is a mental sensation (unconsciously or consciously) through thought. And lastly there is a physical sensation through eating, swallowing, and smiling. To summarize the PIZZA adventure: Brain and mind is where the “action” is taking place. Body is where the “reaction” is taking place.
Your brain and the mind has awesome untapped potential; I’ll teach you how to tap into that potential by using the course Speed Reading in One Hour. I’ll show you how you can be a total success in your college life and beyond.

Being successful in any type of business means have to put in hard work, especially in the beginning. Having your own business can be very rewarding, but you have to look at the mental aspect that having a business is no time to joke around, and it’s very important to take it extremely seriously and get your work done.
So what are some things you can do to take your work more seriously and get more done? You could set yourself some weekly goals. Sit down and right down the different things that you want to have accomplished for the week ahead. Having your next week planned out can really help to put things into perspective.
With your weekly goals written down, now what you’ll want to do is to come up with daily routines for the week of how you are going to accomplish those seven day tasks. Split up the tasks into different days and be sure that you get you don’t fall behind in your schedule to get things done.
Another thing you can do is to set yourself some short term, medium term, and long term goals. Writing down goals is one of the simplest things you can do, but ultimately one of the most effective. When you write down your goals you know where you want to be, which leads to something else that you should be doing.
Having a plan of action and goals is a great way to get your business into perspective and to become much more productive. Having goals with a set date is good motivation, but it’s useless without a plan to follow to get you there. Having a plan is great, but without goals you really have not set destination for where your plan is taking you.

The gym is a modern day shrine for health enthusiasts who are concerned about their physical fitness and their lifestyle. The last few years have witnessed an enormous growth in the number of gyms housing sophisticated exercise equipment and other related facilities. They have come far from being a place meant only for body builders or sportspersons. People both young and old and across all segments of society frequent gyms to stay fit and keep their bodies toned.
However, some unethical companies try to cash in on the gym culture by opening unprofessional centres that have no proper facilities, and people can risk their health by visiting such places. Thus, there are some important considerations that you must remember while selecting a gym.
Firstly, the location of the gym is very important. It is always comfortable if the gym is near your workplace or home, as too long a distance can affect your motivation adversely. You have to see if the gym is properly air conditioned, has friendly employees and a proper layout to give the members a nice workout experience. Furthermore, the place should be large and comfortable. Only gyms with latest equipment and modern facilities must be chosen. This is a crucial criterion, because machines in poor condition will not only hamper the results, but may even be risky for you.
A gym having additional facilities like sauna baths should be a preferred choice. Day care centres are also present in some gyms, which keep children busy during workout sessions of the parents.
Another critical factor is whether the gym provides personal training facility or not. Personal care and attention is possible with personal training and inspiration levels are also enhanced through it. The more determined, committed and accessible a personal trainer is, better are the chances of the member getting good advice and training.
Lastly, the expense for the gym must be in accordance with your financial situation and the services and facilities offered. Adaptable and long term packages made available by some gyms are especially helpful in fitting the expense within your budget, but try not to get into a very long term agreement.
In short, your gym should be such that visiting it regularly and exercising in it should be a nice and rejuvenating experience for you, and this should be the prime criteria for your decision on the gym.
